About Us

Bell-Ringing Central was created back in 2009 by a then ‘Year 9’ student using HTML as part of a school project. His keen interest in Church Bell-Ringing, Computers and Technology lead to the growth of this site since then.

We recently trialed the shop and forum section to gauge our audience with the decision to withdraw them in early 2013. This site now offers the opportunity for ringers to access a database of methods to help advance there knowledge and for non-ringers to learn about this ancient past-time.

I would like to thank to the IT staff at Samuel Whitbread Academy, for their help during to first creation of the site and Mrs Beard of Haynes Church, Bedfordshire for allowing me to teach new ringers.
